Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Imlil Village
Arrive in Imlil, the gateway to the High Atlas Mountains. After settling into your comfortable accommodation, enjoy a relaxed afternoon exploring the village and its surrounding trails. This first day is designed as an easy introduction to the mountains, particularly suitable for families travelling with children.
Day 2: Imlil – Tizi n'Mzik – Azzaden Valley – Tizi Oussem
Approximately 5 - 6 hoursAfter breakfast, meet your English-speaking guide and begin your trek from Imlil. The trail climbs gradually towards Tizi n'Mzik Pass (2,489m), with beautiful panoramic views over the High Atlas. From the pass, descend through juniper forests into the spectacular Azzaden Valley, passing traditional Berber villages and mountain landscapes. Continue to Tizi Oussem, where you will have dinner and spend the night in a comfortable gîte.
Day 3: Tizi Oussem – Aït Aïssa – Ouirgane
Approximately 5 - 6 hoursAfter breakfast, continue through the beautiful Azzaden Valley, passing traditional villages, terraced fields, and peaceful mountain landscapes. From Aït Aïssa, continue towards Ouirgane, enjoying the scenery along the way. Arrive in Ouirgane in the afternoon, where the trek ends.
